If you look at the arrangement of the Seven Deadly Sins in this order, you can see that the sixth terrace level is indicated as Gluttony. "The Purgatory of Dante Alighieri" organizes the seven deadly sins in terraces, listing them in levels from 1~7. But the ideology of "purgatory" orders them differently. "Is this theory really it? Is it really that simple? Then what is the purpose of the new protagonist MONO?" Then I realized something.Īccording to Roman Catholic Theology, the Seven Deadly Sins are typically ordered as: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. (Six = Wrath, Guests = Gluttony, The Lady = Lust, etc.) Although I also believed that this theory was correct, playing Little Nightmares II made me question myself. Now, I know that many of you have already talked about this theory years ago when the first game came out the theory explaining that each of the characters in Little Nightmares I represents the seven deadly sins. But what does it have to do with the game series " Little Nightmares"?
